Write to the desk

This page explains how to reach the editorial desk, what is worth writing about, and what the desk cannot answer. It also states how the site is funded.

What is worth writing about

Write if a figure looks wrong. The desk republishes a single measurement taken from named public sources, with the date and hour it was read. A reader who sees a mismatch between the table and the source should send the link and the difference. The desk checks the figure against the source and corrects it if the source confirms the error.

Write if a source has moved or closed. The table links to the publisher's page, and a link can break or a page can be taken down. A reader who finds a dead link helps the desk replace it with the working location. Write if a question about how the measurement is taken remains unclear after reading the method note under the table.

How a correction is handled

A correction is dated. The desk adds the date of the correction to the table and notes what changed. The correction is made on the same page where the figure appears, so a reader comparing the old and new values can see the difference. The desk does not silently change a number.

The desk answers the reader who sent the correction, but the reply is a plain statement of what was checked and what changed. The desk does not promise a response time, because a check against a source can take longer when the source is slow or unclear. The correction is the priority, not the speed of the reply.

What the desk cannot answer

The desk does not give personal investment advice. It will not tell a reader whether to trade, which broker to choose, or how much to deposit. The figures describe what things cost, not what a reader should do. A question that asks for a recommendation gets a plain refusal, not a suggestion.

The desk cannot help with a broker's account. It cannot see a reader's balance, deposits, withdrawals, or open positions. It cannot contact a broker on a reader's behalf, and it cannot recover money. If a reader has a problem with FxPro or any other broker, the reader must contact that broker directly through its own support channel.

How the desk is funded

The site links to one broker, FxPro, through an affiliate link. If a reader opens an account at FxPro through that link, the site is paid a commission. The reader pays nothing to this site and nothing extra at the broker. This is the site's only source of revenue.

Nothing on the site is investment advice, a recommendation, or an offer. The affiliate relationship does not change the figures, the method, or the corrections. The desk does not accept payment to alter a measurement, and it does not run sponsored content. The address for corrections and questions is editor@checkbeforedepositng.pages.dev.
